Corrections
The permanent corrections log for CryptoLately, plus how to report an error.
CryptoLately corrects errors promptly and in the open. This page is the permanent log. Each entry names the piece, describes the change, and records the date.
Report an error
Write to editor@ailately.com with the URL of the piece and the sentence in question. The desk acknowledges every report within two business days and resolves clear factual errors within five. A corrected piece carries a dated note describing the change. Disputed interpretations get a reply from the editor and, where warranted, a published response from the subject.
Automated reports
Pieces drafted by the automated desks fall under this policy in full. A reader who spots an error in an automated piece uses the same address, and the editor can pull any automated piece immediately while the record gets checked.
The log
Entries begin when the first piece publishes and will appear here, newest first, in this format: date, piece, what changed, and why.
Oct. 15, 2026. Figure Names Michael Tannenbaum Chief Executive Officer. The piece said Figure sold 31.5 million shares and raised $787 million in its IPO, as PYMNTS reported. Figure's Sept. 12, 2025 filing shows the company itself sold 28.2 million shares for $705.8 million, and existing stockholders sold another 8.0 million. The piece now gives both. It also now quotes the filing's language about the infrastructure supporting capital markets as the filing wrote it.
Oct. 14, 2026. OMG, the 2026-10-14-am edition. Two headlines changed. The edition headline said Saylor bought the dip, but the edition records a purchase by Strive alone. The top post's headline placed Saylor's remark that bitcoin hit bottom at the World Bank. He made it in a Bloomberg interview, as the take says. Found by The CryptoLately.com Desk on review.
