The move
Evan Auyang, group president of Animoca Brands, framed the appointment as recognition of work already done. “We're thrilled to have Jamii Quoc as general counsel and Executive Committee member. Her exceptional work balancing innovation with legal compliance has been invaluable to the company in recent years. In her expanded role, Jamii will be crucial in enhancing governance, supporting growth, and safeguarding our integrity as we scale up. We look forward to her continued contributions,” Auyang said1.
Quoc described her own mandate in the same release. “As we navigate the evolving Web3 legal landscape and its changing compliance requirements, I look forward to leading our efforts to grow the company's initiatives in line with progress in regulatory developments as we work toward our mission of advancing digital property rights,” she said1.
