The Toronto-based bitcoin miner filed a material change report with securities regulators on December 29 to say so. Morphy had joined Bitfarms' board in May 2020. He moved into an executive role in August 2020. The promotion put him in charge of a company that had just lost its co-founder CEO, Emiliano Grodzki , to resignation.
