Bastian Aue Replaces Tomasz Stańczak as Ethereum Foundation Co-Director

Bastian Aue became interim co-executive director of the Ethereum Foundation on February 13, 2026. Tomasz Stańczak posted that same day that he would leave the seat at the end of the month. The Foundation's board called Aue's appointment effective immediately. Stańczak's own post set his own exit for "the end of February 2026." Aue would co-lead the Foundation alongside Hsiao-Wei Wang, who had shared the role with Stańczak since early 2025.
