Polygon Labs Names Rebecca Rettig Chief Policy Officer

Rebecca Rettig announced on Feb. 9, 2023, that she had joined Polygon Labs as its first chief policy officer. “I've joined Polygon Labs, the original dev of @0xPolygon, as its first Chief Policy Officer,” she wrote on X, adding that she would lead the company's global effort “in crafting sound laws that will allow the web3 ecosystem to flourish”. The same day, Silvergate Bank disclosed in an SEC filing that Rettig had resigned from its board of directors.
