SoFi Names Stephen Simcock General Counsel

SoFi named Stephen Simcock general counsel on June 3, 2024, the company said in a press release the same day. Simcock came from JPMorgan Chase, where he had served as vice chairman of the bank's legal department and general counsel of its consumer banking business. He took over the legal department from retiring chief legal officer Rob Lavet . Before that, he was general counsel of Citigroup's global consumer bank, the release said.
