Sonic Labs posted on Sept. 28, 2025 that Mitchell Demeter had become its chief executive officer, and that Michael Kong , who had guided Fantom and then Sonic, would move to chief information officer and keep a seat on the board. Demeter held the job for 145 days. On Feb. 20, 2026, Sonic Labs wrote that he had transitioned out of his role, and Demeter posted on X, “I’ve moved on from my role with Sonic Labs. While my time there was brief, I’m grateful for the experience and wish the organization all the best.” Matt Visser took the title on June 19, 2026, the day Kong, Andre Cronje and David Richardson resigned from the board.
