Justin Sun told the TRON community on December 17, 2021 that he was stepping down as CEO of the TRON Foundation, the organization behind the blockchain he founded in 2017. He took a full-time post as Grenada's ambassador to the World Trade Organization. The Foundation would dissolve itself on July 25, 2022, according to The Crypto Basic. A letter from Sun's lawyers to a federal judge dates the legal end to April 6, 2023, fifteen days after the SEC sued the Foundation.
