Bakkt Holdings announced the appointment of Mike Alfred to its board of directors on Sept. 22, 2025. The company called it an addition that “strengthens Bakkt's governance and positions the Company to capitalize on the generational transformation in global financial infrastructure”. Alfred had co-founded and exited two fintech data companies before joining the board.
