“PwC says a monthly securitization payout that took 30 days now settles in one. Will other servicers move their waterfalls onto a public blockchain?”

PwC Germany has built a payout system for EOS Group, a receivables manager, that pays securitization investors on the Stellar blockchain in one day. The firm's Frankfurt office announced it on October 7, 2026. Before the switch, a single monthly payment cycle often took 30 days or longer to close, because staff worked out each share and settled the payments by hand1.

EOS Group's payouts fall from 30-plus days to 1 on Stellar, PwC Germany said Oct. 7, 2026

    How the payout works

A securitization bundles loans, leases or mortgages into a company that sells notes to investors. Every month, the cash from those loans gets split among the notes in a set order. Bankers call that order the waterfall. At many firms the math still lives in spreadsheets, and staff check it several times, PwC says1.

Stellar's own account summed up the new version on October 8. “Smart contracts run the payout waterfall, settling near-instantly in @AllUnityStable's MiCA-regulated euro stablecoin.”2

PwC named the product EOS Automated Receivables Settlement. The system works out each investor's share by itself. PwC says it follows the EU's securitization rules1.

    Who did what

PwC ran the project from start to finish and designed the rules side1. EOS had the idea, out of years of managing debt. AllUnity issued the money, and the Stellar Development Foundation joined as a partner.

Three executives spoke in the release. Konstantin Dagianis, who leads digital assets at PwC Germany, said settlement in many of these deals still takes heavy checking1. Raja Chakravorti, chief business officer at the Stellar Development Foundation, said the system shows why Stellar suits regulated finance. Sebastian Pollmer, who runs Western Europe for EOS, asked why a rule-based job should take 30 days at all.

Two outlets reported the one-day figure on October 734. Stellar held $3.385 billion in tokenized real-world assets as of September 28, by TokenPost's count.

PwC Germany announced the one-day payout Oct. 7, 2026, and Stellar posted about it Oct. 8

      What to watch

PwC calls this one of the first cases in the world to join an automated waterfall, blockchain settlement and regulated euro money1. Watch for a second deal. If EOS or another servicer moves a new securitization onto the same rails, the system has spread past its first test.
