Jillian MacNab became chairperson of the Cardano Foundation Council on June 9, 2021, when Nathan Kaiser , the chairperson since 2019, stepped down effective immediately. Ninety-one days later, on Sept. 8, the Foundation announced two more members and said the Council's previous five members had chosen their own successors. Why does that sequence still draw an argument? Charles Hoskinson , who founded Cardano, objected in December 2024 to a Council that picks the people who follow it.
